| FAMILIES RESIDENT IN SOUTH TYROL SAVE 50% |
The Family Travel Pass is available to all families
resident in South Tyrol that are composed of at least 4 people, in other
words, parents, children under the age of 19 as well as any other relatives
who are aged 60 or more (conforming with Law no. 3277 passed by the Provincial
Council on 04/09/2000). This travel pass reduces the price of journeys made
on all of SIT's transport system by 50%, compared to the fare paid with
a normal transferable value card. A big saving for the family budget! Furthermore,
if the departure or arrival points are in the cities of Bolzano or Merano,
you can take advantage of a free suburban bus connection if taken within
45 minutes.

| HOW TO RECEIVE THE FAMILY TRAVEL PASS |
The purchasing of a Family Pass occurs in two stages:
- First, one member of the family needs to present at a
ticket office an identity card and a document certifying the family
status (self-certification is also acceptable);
- Within 4 days, each member of the family will receive a personal
travel pass at a cost of EUR 5,00 each. This travel pass permits the
holder to buy a personalised value card for EUR 10,00. Each journey for
each member of the family will thereafter cost 50% of the normal fare.
Tickets can be bought at any
authorised sales
and on the interurban buses.
