| TRAVEL WHEREVER YOU WANT
WITH THE VALUE CARD! |
The value card is a universal, transferable ticket that provides
the user with several financial advantages. You can use it on all types
of transport in South Tyrol. It provides savings of a third on the cost
of a suburban bus fare and a third on the cost of interurban bus kilometre fares.
It also provides a free suburban bus connection in Bolzano, Merano, Bressanone or Brunico.
|
| CHEAP FARES EVERYWHERE - EVEN ON THE TRAINS! |
Are you a frequent traveller on SIT transport? Then you ought
to buy a value card for either 5, 10 or 25 Euro depending on
your needs. These cards are available from the driver as well as from a
ticket office or any other authorised sales outlet. With this type of ticket,
you can travel by bus, coach, cable car or train. Simply follow the instructions
for the cancellation of the ticket.
|
| STAMP YOUR TICKET: IT'S THE MACHINE THAT MAKES YOU SAVE!
|
On the suburban buses, the green cancelling machine deducts
only 65 cent from your value card for each journey. On interurban services,
a daily fare of 65 cent will be deducted as well as 6,5 cent for each
kilometre travelled. You can use the Eurocity DB/OBB/Le Nord. The same ticket can be used at the same time by up
to a maximum of 9 travellers, stamping the ticket as many times as there
are passengers.
|
| THE VALUE CARD IS VALID FOR A YEAR |
The value card is valid for one year, during which it can be
used freely depending upon need. Unlike the standard single ticket, the
value card can also be used for train and cable car
journeys. Once a value card has expired, any unused credit is not refundable
but it is possible to transfer it onto another card within one month of
the expiry date (30 days prior to its expiry and up to 60 days after its
expiry). If the card is for any reason illegible, the green cancelling machine
will indicate it.
