YOU ONLY PAY FOR THE JOURNEY YOU DO
Whether you use SIT to make a single journey or multiple journeys in a day, you only pay for the journey that has been made: no forfeit fares are applied. Our fare system is transparent and customer-friendly and the tickets are the same for the entire network. All you have to do is stamp your ticket each time you use one of our buses, cable cars or trains.

TICKETS CAN BE FOUND ALMOST EVERYWHERE
  1. On the interurban buses (with the sole exception of the Bolzano - Bronzolo bus no. 2) where tickets and value cards are conveniently available from the driver;
  2. At any of the authorised ticket offices or machines;
  3. At a large number of tobacconists (which can be identified by a sign displaying a large T) in Merano and Bolzano.
    Further details are to be found in the chapters Sales Conditions and Sales Outlets.

TRAVELLING LITTLE AT A LOW FARE
A single ticket is recommended for those travellers who use our transport on an occasional basis. The single suburban fare for Bolzano and Merano costs 1 Euro which allows for a change within 45 minutes of first stamping the ticket. Interurban tickets on the other hand comprise a daily fare plus a certain amount for each kilometre travelled, thus ensuring as much transparency as possible.

REGULAR TRAVELLERS SAVE
For more regular travellers, there are a number of discounted tickets available which comprise the so-called value card, as well as suburban and interurban travel passes. Value cards have the added bonuses of not only allowing travellers to choose whichever means of transport they wish to use within the entire transport system, but also they receive a free suburban bus ride once they arrive in either Bolzano or Merano! There are also value cards designed for families (Family Travel Pass), a Weekly Travel Pass and reduced suburban and interurban passes for certain groups (Senior Citizens, Disabled people and others).

SUBURBAN AND INTERURBAN PASSES
These passes provide travellers with the greatest advantages of an integrated transport system. Passes are ideal for those of you who have to take the same journey for work or school. Our passes are versatile - there are those for the city as well as those for interurban routes and they are valid on buses, trains and cable cars. They can be used by residents and non-residents alike. And they provide various forms of discounts.
