Attention! None of the subscriptions of the South Tyrol Integrated Fare System are valid on EC DB/OBB/Le Nord trains and IC/EN Trenitalia.
The code contained on this subscription memorises the stops of departure and destination as well as any transfers. Every subscription accepts up to three transfer stops. It is also possible, on the same trip, to get on the vehicle at a different stop than the one memorised in the code. The cancellation machine will calculate the effective distance travelled.
Your personal value card can also be used to make trips on routes in the urban area at the urban fare of 0.65 cents, with the exception of the urban line used by the holder for subscription trips. In this case, in fact, the corresponding value of the subscription trip is deducted.
When the stop of departure or destination of the subscription route is located in cities with urban lines, it is permissible to transfer to a connecting urban route free of charge, within 45 minutes.
For travel on trains, the personal card of the subscription must be cancelled in the special cancellation machines. For subscriptions with more than one destination, it is necessary to enter the numerical code of the station of destination. If the subscription has only one station of destination, the code is not necessary and the cost is deducted automatically.
The subscription is valid for one year starting from the date of issue.
The ordinary suburban subscription can be obtained by presenting a document of identification or self-certification of your personal data at authorised sales outlets and upon payment of the price of 10.00 euros.
The identity card gives you the right to purchase 10.00-euro personal value cards. The value cards are divided into two series:

As soon as the subscription becomes second series, the personal value card can also be purchased on suburban buses.
The subscription can be renewed at a cost of 5.00 euros thirty days prior to and up to thirty days after the date of expiration.
At the time of renewal, the amount of unused or partially used fares can be transferred to fares of the new subscription. The transfer is immediate for second series documents; first series documents are subject to verification and will not be transferred if the use of second series documents is ascertained during the period of validity of the subscription.
Travel documents that are not presented at the time of renewal cannot be transferred or reimbursed.
How to modify your subscription?
You can modify your subscription and the relative identification card relative to the places of departure and arrival, by paying a fee of 5.00 euros at authorised sales outlets. Upon modification, the unused amount of the value card of the subscription can be transferred to the value card of the modified subscription.
